During the localisation process, we adapt a product to a certain locality, i.e. to the language, the cultural context, conventions and requirements of a certain target market.

This includes, for example, adapting texts, currencies, symbols, signs, colours, and graphics containing a reference to objects, actions or concepts which are misinterpreted or considered insensitive in a certain culture. Software, video games and websites are thus frequently localised.
